We are all saddened and shocked by the death of Her Majesty the Queen.

As our longest reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth II was a symbol of stability and continuity throughout an era of great change for the United Kingdom and the wider Commonwealth.

We celebrate a life dedicated to duty and public service, and a woman who won loyalty and respect the world over.

It has been announced that Monday 19 September will be a national bank holiday for Her Majesty’s funeral. Our academy will be observing the national holiday and will be closed on this date. We will reopen on Tuesday 20 September.

Our school is observing the mourning period but continues to support students, families and staff. If you think your child is experiencing particular upset due to the passing of the Queen, please let us know so we can provide additional support if needed.
