National Teacher Strike Action - Wednesday 5th July and Friday 7th July

You may have seen in the news nationally, matters relating to industrial action that remains under dispute between the Government and certain teaching unions.

Members of the National Education Union (NEU), which represents hundreds of thousands of teachers and non-teaching school based staff across the country, has balloted its members and voted to take strike action on the projected dates shown.

The strike action is not a dispute between Dixons Academies Trust, the local authority or our school specifically; only between the members of the union and the Government. However, we do have a large proportion of our teaching staff in the NEU.
